Formed in 2010, the mission of Adopt One Village is to improve quality of life in the rural villages surrounding Abetifi, Ghana by bringing sustainability in the areas of Healthcare, Education, and Infrastructure, one village at a time.
We will be visiting Atta Ne Atta on Februrary 2023
We are proud collaborators of Adopt One Village. We are currently working with this charity on a sustainable development project to help promote digital agriculture in Western Africa.
Adopt One Village welcome teams, groups, towns, counties and individuals to get involved at a grassroots level with the villages.
In the last few years, Adopt One Village has expanded its aid to Abetifi-Kwahu dramatically. Household supplies are not enough. In this region, there are many small villages in need of aid as they lack electricity, running water and health facilities. Many suffer needlessly from curable diseases and infections. The children of these villages are educated in a deteriorating building with few teachers and no supplies. We work very hard to make sure that every penny donated or every item given or every volunteer that travels with us or works in the warehouse is handled with the utmost respect and efficiency. We deliberately work to make "eternal connections" with everyone we interact with whether they are in our home state of New Jersey or in the rural villages of Ghana.
You can give from here, or you can visit the villages and visit their homes! It's up to you...
